Let’s step back to that first step again. We get the raw file.

So you recorded something somehow, and you gave it to us. 

Usually, that’s an email/ a google drive you shared with us.

It could be a Dropbox even. Or maybe you even have access to a carrier pigeon and flew us a jump drive.

However, it gets to us, and we get the raw file. 

From there, we do a rough edit.

That means we get rid of as much background noise as possible, level out the voices, and eliminate all the filler words. 

We use a few programs, but some of my favorites are garage band, auphonic, and audacity.  

We add your intro music and how you want that in the show. 

Maybe you want it before you talk at all, or a small intro, then music, or some other way.

We can talk about it during a free consultation. 

When it comes to getting music, it can be a piece you or someone you know made.

It can be bought. There are options. 

Then we insert your bumps between show sections.

You might now have any, or it can change every 5 minutes. 

A bump is something small but something that breaks up the show, so it’s not just talking the whole time. 

Then we add the outro.

That might be something epic to leave your audience wanting more. 

Or something wholesome to leave them on a friendly note.

Or it might be a strong message using repetition as your intro for your outro. 

Either way, that’s the rough process of the production of your show.
